Vodacom Business has announced three significant appointments to its Extraordinary Business Advisory Board, a move designed to enhance its capacity to provide strategic insights and guidance on emerging technologies and business solutions to its enterprise clientele. This expansion underscores Vodacom Business’s commitment to fostering digital transformation within the South African corporate landscape.

The advisory board, a key strategic initiative, comprises a carefully selected group of thought leaders and experts.

Their collective expertise spans critical domains such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and broader digital transformation strategies. The board serves as a vital platform, assisting organisations of varying sizes in navigating complex technological challenges and unlocking their full potential through innovative solutions.

Videsha Proothveerajh, Director of Vodacom Business, highlighted the board’s invaluable role in addressing the most pressing issues confronting South African enterprises. She noted its instrumental contribution to shaping the company’s enterprise strategy and solutions, from guiding digital transformation initiatives to tackling evolving cybersecurity threats and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a rapidly changing business environment.

The newly appointed members bring a wealth of experience crucial for enterprise success. Charlotte Kepadisa, Managing Executive of Big Data, AI, and RPA at Vodacom Group, contributes over two decades of leadership in AI and digital transformation across financial services, insurance, and telecommunications. Her recent three-year secondment to Safaricom saw her accelerate AI transformation and value realisation across the operator, demonstrating a profound impact on large-scale digital initiatives.

Reshaad Sha, Executive Chairman of Sentiv and CEO of BriteGaze, is recognised for his leadership at the nexus of technology, customer experience, and operational transformation. His extensive career includes executive roles at Liquid Telecom South Africa, SqwidNet, DFA, Cisco, LogicaCMG, and Protek, with significant experience in telecommunications and digital innovation across multiple continents. Sha’s expertise is particularly relevant in leveraging AI, IoT, and digital transformation to generate new revenue streams.

Kgabo Seopa, Managing Executive of Products and Services at Vodacom Business, brings a strong background in scaling high-growth technology portfolios internationally and translating strategic vision into tangible commercial outcomes. His prior roles at Cisco, Nokia, Sita, Vodacom, and Internet Solutions underscore his capability in building businesses and teams that deliver meaningful impact across Africa, grounded in purpose and integrity.

Proothveerajh reiterated Vodacom Business’s role as a trusted enterprise partner, emphasising its ability to integrate people, experience, expertise, and innovation to drive extraordinary growth. The addition of Kepadisa, Sha, and Seopa is expected to further strengthen the board’s capacity to deliver authoritative insights on emerging technologies and digital transformation trends, reinforcing Vodacom Business’s position at the forefront of technological advancement in the region.
