    SARS bolsters leadership  team with three new Deputy Commissioners

    The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has appointed three new Deputy Commissioners to strengthen its leadership team.The three new Deputy Commissioners are Nadine Taylor, Dr. Thabelo Malovhele, and Dr. Randall Carolissen.

    1. Nadine Taylor is the new Deputy Commissioner for Customs and Excise.
    2. Dr. Thabelo Malovhele is the new Deputy Commissioner for Research.
    3. Dr. Randall Carolissen is the new Deputy Commissioner for Enforcement.
    4. The appointments come after the recent restructuring of SARS, which aimed to improve efficiency and service delivery.
    5. The new Deputy Commissioners will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of their respective areas and ensuring that SARS meets its revenue collection targets.
    6. They will also be responsible for improving SARS’ compliance and enforcement capabilities, as well as enhancing its research and data analytics capabilities.
    7. The appointments are part of SARS’ ongoing efforts to rebuild its capacity and restore public trust in the organization.
