    Radisson Hotel Group, one of the world’s largest hotel groups with over 1,460 hotels across 95+ countries, is on the lookout for a Director of Finance to join its dynamic team in Cape Town.     This role is ideal for those who have a passion for numbers and exceptional attention to detail. The successful candidate will support and develop a team of dedicated hoteliers, helping to create memorable guest experiences. As the Director of Finance, you will bring extensive financial expertise, a results-driven mindset, and a commitment to excellence in fiscal management.

    Key responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting department, implementing diligent financial processes, and fostering efficiency and growth. You will work proactively to enhance guest satisfaction, deliver timely responses to inquiries, and develop business strategies that communicate objectives and accurately measure performance.

    Leading and managing the accounting team will be a crucial aspect of the role, fostering a culture of growth and performance. You will be responsible for preparing the hotel budget and profit and loss performance, ensuring all accounting functions are controlled and audited. Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders will also be essential.

    The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in accounting, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent leadership abilities. A hands-on approach and a commitment to exceptional guest service are vital, along with the capacity to find creative solutions and provide valuable recommendations.

    Candidates should also demonstrate personal integrity and the ability to thrive in a demanding environment that prioritises excellence. Experience in payroll administration and systems is also preferred.
