    Prescient Investment Management Appoints Norman Roberts as Chief Technology Officer

    Prescient Investment Management, a leading systematic investment manager announced the appointment of Norman Roberts as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). 

    This newly created role, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, underlines Prescient Investment Management’s continued investment in innovation and digital transformation as strategic growth enablers.

    With over a decade of experience in designing and launching digital platforms, Roberts brings deep technical expertise and leadership capabilities to the role. He joins Prescient from Ayoba, where he served as Technical Operations Manager and previously Senior DevOps Engineer. His career spans leadership roles across a wide range of technology disciplines, including DevOps, site reliability engineering (SRE), cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, and digital transformation.

    As CTO, Roberts will lead the development and execution of Prescient Investment Management’s digital strategy, driving innovation and integrating digital technologies across all areas of the business. He will oversee the implementation of scalable, cloud-native architectures, champion data-led decision-making, and work cross-functionally to enhance the client experience, streamline operations, and accelerate business growth.

    Roberts’ technical toolkit includes extensive experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and a wide array of development frameworks and tools. His career has seen him spearhead enterprise-scale modernisation projects, build and lead high-performing digital teams, and deliver technology solutions that unlock measurable business impact.

His appointment reflects Prescient Investment Management’s continued focus on attracting top talent and leveraging digital capabilities to sustain its competitive edge in the investment management space.
