    The 3rd annual Solar Power Africa conference is set to launch with a dynamic programme aimed at empowering Africa’s energy future.

    1. The conference will take place from 7-9 February 2024 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, attracting attendees and exhibitors from across Africa and internationally.
    2. Solar power is seen as a crucial component in ensuring a sustainable and secure energy system across Africa.
    3. The conference will address the potential of solar energy in Africa, the progress made so far, and the need for further development to provide cheap, secure, and sustainable energy to every African.
    4. Storage technologies and solutions have overcome the intermittent nature of solar power, allowing for its integration into the grid.
    5. The theme of Solar Power Africa 2024 is “Empowering Africa’s Energy Future: Solar and Storage Solutions for Sustainable Development.”
    6. The conference will feature plenary sessions, keynote addresses, and specialized breakaway sessions, with over 80 expert speakers from the energy industry.
