Phakamani Impact Capital is set to celebrate a historic achievement this September, having facilitated R1 billion in funding for South African small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) since its launch. The celebration will occur on 19 September 2024 at The Garden Venue in Northriding, bringing together industry leaders and selected SMMEs eager to share their success stories. Phakamani has sought to challenge the perception that ESD is merely a compliance exercise, often failing to generate lasting opportunities for black-owned and community-based businesses.
