Vodacom is looking for an experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Executive Head: Business Performance at their Cape Town office. This key leadership position is focused on delivering data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making across sales, marketing, and operations, ensuring the company continues its path of growth and excellence.

The successful candidate will oversee a team responsible for reporting, analysis, and system support, including managing commission policies, customer segmentation, target management, and business operations analysis. They will work closely with various sales and back-office teams to align strategies and drive business success. The role also entails working with IT to upgrade sales systems and ensuring data integrity for reliable decision-making.

A core part of the role involves developing, tracking, and reporting on key metrics that measure business performance. The executive will analyse data to identify trends and opportunities, support strategic initiatives with insights, and ensure commission policies motivate the desired sales behaviours. Additionally, they will foster strong stakeholder relationships, including managing key accounts and collaborating with other departments such as marketing and product teams.

The ideal candidate will bring at least eight years of experience in business and data analytics in environments like ICT, with a proven track record of managing multi-industry sales teams and delivering profitable revenue growth. They should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a deep understanding of sales systems and customer lifecycle management. Experience in solution selling within enterprise customers and managing teams in multinational matrix organisations will be advantageous.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a customer-focused approach, accountability, collaboration skills, resilience, and flexibility. The candidate must also demonstrate strong leadership in building high-performance, diverse teams, and embedding a positive organisational culture aligned with Vodacom’s values.

The position is based at Vodacom’s Midrand Campus, with applications closing on 28 August 2025. Vodacom is committed to diversity and inclusion and encourages applicants from all backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities, to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for a visionary leader to make a significant impact in one of South Africa’s most prominent companies.
