SANRAL is inviting applications for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) — a critical leadership role tasked with shaping the organisation’s long-term financial health and strategic direction.

The CFO will be accountable for the strategic development, planning, and implementation of all financial activities, ensuring compliance with key regulations while driving robust financial performance. This includes managing revenue and cost structures, overseeing debt and liquidity, guiding investment portfolios, and ensuring cost excellence across the organisation.

Applicants must hold a BCom Accounting Honours (or equivalent NQF 8) and be a registered CA(SA) or equivalent (CPA). A minimum of 10 years in senior finance roles, with at least 5 years at executive leadership level, is required. International qualifications must carry official SAQA evaluation.

Advantageous qualifications include a Master’s degree, experience in large organisations, and strong exposure to raising funding in capital markets.

As part of its Employment Equity Plan, SANRAL strongly encourages applications from suitably qualified candidates.

📩 Applications must be sent to response@sanral.co.za.
⏳ Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the financial strategy of one of South Africa’s most vital infrastructure organisations.
