Lexus South Africa is excited to announce its premium partnership with Tintswalo Collection, a luxury collection of exclusive hotels and properties situated in unique locations within Southern Africa. The partnership is premised on the shared belief in craftsmanship, sensory design and meaningful human connection.

The collaboration introduces a curated series of luxury lifestyle and travel experiences designed to move guests emotionally, culturally and experientially, blending Lexus’ philosophy of refined innovation and Japanese hospitality with Tintswalo’s intimate approach to boutique South African luxury.

Commenting on the partnership, Tasneem Lorgat, General Manager, Marketing Communications at Lexus South Africa said: “The Lexus brand is built on anticipation, craftsmanship and hospitality. Through this partnership with Tintswalo Collection, we are able to express those values beyond our vehicles and into immersive lifestyle experiences that reflect how our customers live, travel and connect with the world.”

At the heart of the collaboration is a shared vision titled The Art of Experience, a platform that reimagines what modern luxury looks and feels like through movement, mindfulness and place. Across selected Western Cape Tintswalo properties, guests will be able to book a range of exclusive experiences including:

    • The Lexus Lexcursion™ – a chauffeured luxury drive journey through the Cape Peninsula, curated to engage the senses through scenery, sound, culture and cuisine.
    • The Lexus Tea Experience: Omotenashi at Tintswalo – a refined, Japanese-inspired tea ritual hosted at Tintswalo Summer House, blending South African botanicals with Japanese tea traditions.
    • The Lexus Jazz Kissa: The Sound of Craft – an intimate, ocean-facing listening lounge at Tintswalo Boulders – inspired by Japan’s iconic jazz cafés – that celebrates slow listening, fine taste and thoughtful design.
    • Intersect by Lexus – a rotating retail-and-art collaborative platform that will showcase South African artists and designers whose works reflect those qualities shared by Lexus: refined craft, conscious luxury and subtle beauty.

Together, Lexus and Tintswalo aim to create moments that go beyond traditional hosting, moments that reflect the care, anticipation and emotional connection rooted in the Japanese philosophy of Omotenashi and encapsulated in the welcoming warmth of South African hospitality.

“We are delighted to partner with Lexus – a brand that understands the emotional side of luxury. This collaboration allows us to enhance our guest journeys through thoughtful mobility, cultural storytelling and meaningful experiences that reflect both our local heritage and a global design language,” said Lisa Goosen, CEO at Tintswalo Collection.

The Lexus South Africa x Tintswalo Collection partnership will continue to evolve throughout the year, with new experiences, artist collaborations and curated moments being introduced across the Tintswalo portfolio.
