Puma has announced the appointment of Andreas Hubert as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), with the role taking effect from 1 September 2025. The move marks a major reshuffle in the company’s leadership structure as it aligns key operational functions under a single executive.

The 49-year-old industry veteran will oversee Global Sourcing Operations, Sustainability and Product Development, as well as IT and Logistics. By consolidating these areas under the COO, Puma aims to streamline decision-making and enhance cross-functional efficiency. Previously, these responsibilities were scattered across the CEO, CFO, and Chief Product Officer portfolios.

Andreas brings nearly two decades of industry experience, having spent over four years as Chief Information Officer at Adidas. He originally joined Adidas in 2005 and held various senior leadership roles, including a 12-year stint in Hong Kong where he led global sourcing initiatives.

His appointment reflects Puma’s strategic push to strengthen its supply chain resilience, accelerate digital transformation, and enhance operational excellence as it enters a new growth phase. Leadership at Puma sees this as a vital step in future-proofing the company and boosting competitiveness in a rapidly evolving retail and manufacturing environment.

From September, Puma’s five-member Management Board will include Arthur Hoeld (CEO), Markus Neubrand (CFO), Maria Valdes (CPO), Matthias Bäumer (CCO), and now Andreas Hubert as COO.

With Hubert’s deep knowledge of sourcing, IT, and logistics, Puma is betting on sharper execution and better integration across its global operations.
