With the April introduction of three distinct grades – CS, CL, and CE – the UNI-S range has been structured to give South African drivers greater choice, while maintaining the strong, design-led identity and advanced engineering that has defined the nameplate, globally.

Visually, the CE stands apart from the CS and CL grades with 19-inch alloy wheels, while functionality is enhanced through additional rear parking sensors, automatic parking assist, and a suite of advanced awareness systems. A full compliment of ADAS features now comes into play, with Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Change Assist (LCA), Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) as well as Rear Collision Warning (RCW).

Official launch pricing has been released, with the Changan UNI-S 1.5T AT CS retailing at R389,900.00. The mid-grade CL is expected to cost R429,900.00 – with the range topping CE derivative at R469,900.00. The UNI-S will be available in five colours: Black, Putty Grey, Shadow Grey. Flourite Grey and Moon White.
