Porsche introduces the Taycan Turbo GT, the most powerful series-production car in the company’s history.

    1. The electric vehicle is available with a standard configuration or the track-focused Weissach Package, starting at R5,765,000.
    2. The new Taycan Turbo GT holds two records: the fastest road-approved EV at Laguna Seca Raceway and the fastest four-door vehicle at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
    3. The GT model features a more powerful 900-ampere pulse inverter, generating 580kW in normal conditions and up to 815kW for two seconds at peak levels with Launch Control.
    4. The EV accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.3 seconds and 200km/h in 6.6 seconds, dropping to 2.2 seconds and 6.4 seconds with the Weissach Package.
    5. Enhancements include lightweight ceramic brakes, Porsche Active Ride suspension system with GT-specific tuning, and weight-saving carbon fiber components.
    6. The optional Weissach Package further reduces weight through aerodynamic enhancements and the removal of non-essential equipment, resulting in a total weight savings of 75kg.
