Ford South Africa has unveiled details about the upcoming Ford Ranger Tremor, a robust and hardworking pickup truck set to make its debut in the country in the first half of 2024. The Tremor aims to offer an adventurous and capable off-road experience at a more affordable price point.

    1. While specific pricing details are yet to be announced, Ford SA has positioned the Tremor below the popular Wildtrak X model while retaining many of its off-road capabilities. This makes it an enticing option for those seeking rugged performance without breaking the bank.
    2. The Ranger Tremor, already launched in the UK, boasts enhanced off-road features such as modified suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers, increased ground clearance, and a wider track. These improvements ensure better maneuverability and capability in challenging terrains.
    3. Exterior design elements of the Tremor include a distinctive black honeycomb off-road grille, LED auxiliary driving lights, and Bolder Grey accents on the lower bumper trimmings, mirror caps, door handles, fender vents, and rear bumper. Tremor badges and decals further enhance its unique appearance.
    4. The interior of the Tremor may not match the luxury of the Wildtrak models, but it offers practicality and technology. Features include a 12.0-inch Off-road SYNC infotainment screen with a 360-degree camera system, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and driver-assist features like Trailer Sway Control, Lane Keeping System, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Forward Collision Warning.
    5. The Tremor comes equipped with 17-inch Asphalt Black machine-faced alloy wheels paired with General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires, providing excellent traction and durability for off-road adventures.
    6. The Ford Ranger Tremor introduces a new driver assist feature called Pro Trailer Backup Assist with Trailer Reverse Guidance, offering added convenience when maneuvering with a trailer. This feature will also be made available on other Ranger models like the Wildtrak X, Platinum, and Raptor.
