Chery South Africa achieved another successful sales month in November, matching its performance from the same month in the previous year, while the overall industry experienced a decline of 9.8%.

    1. The brand’s total sales to date are 25.1% better than the year-to-date performance in 2022, positioning Chery for a record-breaking year in South Africa.
    2. Despite the general decline in the automotive market, Chery has maintained its position as the sixth best-selling passenger vehicle brand in South Africa.
    3. Chery’s global sales performance mirrors its success in South Africa, with the Chery Group reporting a massive 111% increase in total sales in November compared to the same period last year.
    4. The company has achieved 11 consecutive months of growth globally, with total global sales of 1,656,626 vehicles from January to November, a 47.8% increase compared to 2022.
    5. Chery’s sales success in South Africa can be attributed to the introduction of new models, including the upgraded Tiggo 8 Pro and Pro MAX, the Tiggo 7 Pro MAX range, and the entry-level Tiggo 4 Pro LiT, which offers excellent value for money.
    6. Chery’s commitment to customer satisfaction is evident through its recognition as the People’s Choice in the SA Guild of Mobility Journalists’ Car of the Year competition and its nomination for the Cars.co.za Consumer Awards, highlighting the brand’s popularity and strong customer support.
