The technology executive’s departure from Dimension Data was announced without specific reasons, signaling her desire to pursue new career opportunities.

    1. Dimension Data, co-founded in 1983 by Jeremy Ord, has recently undergone a significant restructuring of its business and operating model.
    2. The company delisted in 2010 after being acquired by Japanese tech firm NTT for £2.1 billion, and it will soon begin trading under the name NTT Data.
    3. The executive, a chartered accountant, assumed her role in April 2021 and was responsible for implementing the One Dimension Data strategy in Southern Africa.
    4. Prior to her role at Dimension Data, she held positions at EY, co-founded a project management company, served as a director at accounting firm Ngubane, and chaired the Business Women’s Association of SA’s Soweto branch.
    5. Dimension Data consolidated its businesses under the One Dimension Data brand, retiring brands like Britehouse, Internet Solutions, and ContinuitySA, except for MWeb and Merchants.
    6. The company has recently streamlined its operations, including the management buyout of its advanced infrastructure business and the sale of MWeb, one of South Africa’s largest ISPs.
