    Momentum Investments hires new CEO

    Ferdi van Heerden - Momentum Investments CEO

    Ferdi van Heerden has been appointed as the CEO of Momentum Investments, one of the investment arms of financial services group Momentum Metropolitan.

    1. Van Heerden’s appointment will be effective from September 1, following Jeanette Marais’ transition to the role of group CEO.
    2. Van Heerden currently serves as the CEO of Momentum Global Investment Management in the UK and will now join the Momentum Metropolitan group executive committee and various Momentum boards.
    3. He has a long-standing career at Momentum, holding key leadership positions and playing important roles in acquisitions and business improvement projects within the group.
    4. Lulama Booi has also been appointed as the CEO of the international executive committee at Momentum Metropolitan, with responsibilities for Africa, including Botswana, Ghana, Lesotho, Mozambique, and Namibia.
