SoftwareOne, a software and cloud solutions provider, has appointed Makhosini Dlamini as Business Development Executive for South Africa and Africa.

    1. Dlamini brings over 16 years of experience in the ICT industry, including 11 years at Microsoft in various roles and significant projects such as UNISA’s migration to Microsoft AD/Exchange and the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation’s adoption of the AD/Exchange platform.
    2. Prior to joining SoftwareOne, Dlamini worked at Vodacom, where he focused on Microsoft cloud sales, and also gained experience at Oracle, managing sales in several SADC countries.
    3. Dlamini’s role at SoftwareOne involves engaging with customers, understanding their core business objectives and challenges, and tailoring technology solutions to facilitate their growth.
    4. He recognizes that while the post-pandemic business environment has accelerated digital transformation and cloud conversations, the cost and complexity of migrating to the cloud can be obstacles for many organizations in Africa.
    5. SoftwareOne excels in guiding customers through their cloud journey by providing assistance and overcoming challenges associated with cloud migration.
    6. The company’s value proposition includes a comprehensive assessment of customers’ software assets to identify cost-saving opportunities and redirect funds toward cloud migration and technological innovation.
    7. Dlamini is supported by a team of sales professionals and local partners, and together they aim to enhance product and service support and delivery in key areas such as Microsoft, Oracle, SoftwareOne’s Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, and Software Asset Management (SAM) services.
    8. Marilyn Moodley, Country Leader and Local Director for South Africa and Africa at SoftwareOne, expresses confidence in Dlamini’s ability to drive the company to new heights and deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
