Uber Eats has promised to do things better

    June 10, 2023By Staff Writer
    Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi

Uber Eats, the popular food delivery platform, has pledged to take action to address concerns about the environmental impact of its operations.

    1. The company has committed to reducing the use of single-use plastics in its packaging by 2025, with a goal of achieving zero plastics waste by 2028.
    2. Uber Eats will also work with its restaurant partners to encourage the use of sustainable packaging and reduce food waste.
    3. The company has launched a new feature on its app that allows customers to opt-out of receiving plastic cutlery and napkins with their orders.
    4. Uber Eats has also pledged to reduce its carbon footprint by making its delivery fleet more environmentally friendly, with the goal of transitioning to electric vehicles in the future.
    5. The company’s commitment to sustainability is part of a broader trend among food delivery platforms to address the environmental impact of their operations and reduce waste.
