    Helium Health has raised R560m to fund its expansion across Africa.

    1. The healthcare tech company has received backing from Tencent, a Chinese multinational conglomerate.
    2. The funding will be used to expand Helium Health’s offerings in key African markets, including Nigeria, Ghana, and Liberia.
    3. Helium Health’s platform provides electronic medical records, telemedicine, and other healthcare services to hospitals and clinics.
    4. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years, with over 300 healthcare providers using its platform.
    5. Helium Health aims to improve healthcare access and outcomes in Africa through its technology solutions.
    6. The funding round was led by international investors, including Global Ventures, Africa Healthcare Master Fund, and Asia Africa Investment & Consulting.
