Inospace, the largest owner and operator of last-mile logistics parks in South Africa, has successfully converted one of its traditional warehouse properties in Cape Town into an e-commerce fulfilment and outsourced warehouse facility.

    1. The fulfilment warehouse is located at Inospace’s flagship Island Works Logistics Park in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, which provides convenient access to major transportation routes, enabling timely and efficient delivery of goods.
    2. Ample Storage Capacity: The newly revamped 1,500m2 fulfilment warehouse offers substantial storage space, capable of accommodating more than 10,000 items, ensuring that a wide range of products can be efficiently managed and dispatched.
    3. The facility is equipped with advanced logistics technologies and systems, streamlining order processing, inventory management, and dispatch operations. This automation enhances overall operational efficiency and reduces turnaround times.
    4. Inospace’s e-commerce fulfilment warehouse offers customizable services to meet the unique requirements of different businesses, including inventory management, order picking and packing, labeling, and returns processing.
    5. By outsourcing their warehousing and fulfilment needs to Inospace, businesses can save on infrastructure costs, staffing, and day-to-day operational expenses, allowing them to focus on core business activities.
    6. The conversion was driven by the increasing demand for e-commerce fulfilment services, as online shopping continues to grow in popularity, requiring efficient warehousing and logistics solutions.
