    1. ARC’s investments include stakes in companies such as Alexander Forbes, Santam, and Rain, as well as a number of start-ups in various sectors. The company reported a 2% increase in net asset value per share, driven by growth in its strategic investments in financial services, telecommunications, and energy sectors.
    2. ARC Investments’ financial services portfolio grew by 16%, driven by strong performance in its asset management and short-term insurance businesses.
    3. The company’s telecommunications portfolio grew by 6%, with its investment in Rain Mobile contributing to the growth.
    4. ARC’s half-year results for the period ending December 2022 showed a 10% increase in its net asset value to R10.7 billion ($747 million).
    5. ARC Investments also reported progress in its renewable energy investments, with its subsidiary, African Rainbow Energy & Power, making significant strides in the development of renewable energy projects in South Africa.
    6. ARC’s success is attributed to its focus on investing in companies with strong fundamentals and long-term growth potential, as well as its ability to identify and support promising start-ups. As well as its disciplined approach to capital allocation and risk management.
