Lerato Pule, the former finance chief at South African mobile operator Cell C, has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Liquid Intelligent Technologies SA.

    1. Liquid Intelligent Technologies SA is a leading telecom and technology infrastructure firm operating across the African continent.
    2. Pule will assume her new role in February 2024, overseeing the financial strategy of Liquid SA as the company continues to expand its vision of a digitally connected future.
    3. Pule brings with her a wealth of experience, having served as a qualified chartered accountant and former CFO of Telkom’s SME business.
    4. Her appointment comes after a series of departures from Cell C earlier this year, including the resignation of Pule as CFO in August.
    5. Liquid’s CEO, Deon Geyser, expressed confidence in Pule’s abilities, highlighting her extensive understanding of the industry and her instrumental role in enhancing shareholder value.
    6. Liquid SA has been actively expanding its operations and infrastructure, and in 2022, it received a $50 million investment from UK firm C5 Capital. The company has also partnered with the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC) to expand its data center capacity and fiber optic cable network.
