Chioma Nnadi has been appointed as the new head of British Vogue, replacing Edward Enninful.

    1. Nnadi will serve as the head of editorial content at the magazine and will report to Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of US Vogue and chief content officer for Condé Nast’s global editions.
    2. Nnadi is currently the editor of Vogue.com, overseeing digital content for the American edition.
    3. Under Edward Enninful’s leadership, British Vogue became more diverse and inclusive, championing plus-size and transgender models and featuring celebrities like Meghan Markle.
    4. Anna Wintour, who has had a long career at Vogue, recently implemented a global “digital-first” strategy, which led to some internal restructuring and loss of editorial control at the local level.
    5. Nnadi is the first black woman to edit British Vogue and is considered loyal to Anna Wintour.
    6. Nnadi has demonstrated strong leadership and audience growth during her tenure at Vogue.com, driving engagement across the website and social media platforms.
    7. Nnadi has written cover stories on notable figures such as Rihanna, Cara Delevingne, and Erykah Badu and co-hosts the Vogue podcast, The Run-Through.
    8. Nnadi will assume her new role at British Vogue on October 9 and will be based in London.
    9. Anna Wintour praised Nnadi’s reputation as an editor and writer and commended her ability to connect with the digital audience and expand Vogue’s reach and influence across multiple platforms.
