Nestlé South Africa has made the decision to discontinue Nesquik chocolate and strawberry flavoured milk drinks (250g and 500g) in the country, starting from 21 August 2023.

    1. The discontinuation is a result of declining sales and lower demand for Nesquik in the South African market.
    2. Nestlé acknowledges that this decision may disappoint some consumers who enjoy Nesquik.
    3. However, Nestlé will continue to produce and focus on its other popular brands, including Milo, Hot Chocolate, and Cocoa drinks, which have demonstrated strong performance and consumer loyalty.
    4. Nestlé remains committed to the Cocoa Malt Beverages category and plans to bring innovation and introduce new products in the future, expressing gratitude to consumers for their ongoing support.
