Deloitte Africa has launched a Generative AI practice for the African market.

    1. It brings together industry experience, AI engineers and ecosystem partners to build Generative AI solutions to accelerate business innovation.
    2. Generative AI allows digital systems to understand humans without effort and humans to create digital systems quickly and at scale.
    3. The practice will harness the power of innovation and technology to unlock possibilities and increase AI fluency in Africa.
    4. Clients will have access to AI Labs, accelerated use case development and Large Language Model managed services within Deloitte’s Trustworthy AI framework.
    5. Generative AI has the potential to revolutionize industries and boost economic growth in Africa by allowing enterprises to leapfrog innovation.
    6. It can optimize energy distribution, streamline healthcare processes and augment legal work.
    7. However, there are risks like AI systems creating unethical outputs or causing financial losses due to flaws or data issues.
    8. Deloitte can help organizations build the right infrastructure, train AI models that align with ethics and manage regulatory risks.
    9. The practice can help clients leverage AI to improve revenue, productivity, identify risks and rethink their businesses for the future.
