KPMG One Africa hosted the 2026 KPMG Africa Private Enterprise Venture Summit from 18–22 May 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya. The summit week attracted more than 250 attendees and over 50 speakers from across Africa and global markets.

KPMG Private Enterprise Africa continues to support emerging giants such as startups and scaleups as well as family businesses and family offices through access to global expertise, strategic advisory capabilities, and ecosystem connectivity that enables businesses to scale and thrive.

Now in its third edition, the summit convened founders, investors, policymakers, family businesses, family offices, financial institutions, venture capital and private equity firms, corporates, incubators, accelerators, and broader ecosystem players from across the continent under the theme: “Africa Accelerated: Powering Africa’s engines of growth.”

From the 2026 Female Founders Deal room, the Family Baraza, Future of Solutions and Future of Trade and Investments, the 2026 edition introduced a bold new format designed to shift the focus from traditional conference programming to audience-led engagement. During these sessions, delegates actively shaped the conversations driving Africa’s investment and innovation agenda.

Speaking during the summit, Sandeep Main, Partner, Tax & Regulatory Services and Africa Head of Private Enterprise at KPMG One Africa, said:

“The 2026 summit was designed to create a platform where Africa’s builders, investors, and policymakers could move beyond conversation into action. We intentionally redesigned the experience to make it more participatory, more collaborative, and more reflective of the entrepreneurial energy shaping the continent today.”

Africa’s growth story will be written by the businesses, innovators, and ecosystems that are solving real challenges on a scale. This summit brought together the voices, capital, and ideas needed to accelerate that future.

KPMG Private Enterprise Africa continues to support emerging businesses, startups, family enterprises, and high-growth companies through access to global expertise, strategic advisory capabilities, and ecosystem connectivity that enables businesses to scale and thrive.
