Naked-fleet today announced a landmark R20 million investment to launch a fleet of electric vehicle (EV) airport shuttles serving Cape Town International Airport.
This initiative marks a major step toward sustainable urban mobility and positions Naked-fleet as a leader in eco-friendly transport solutions within the Western Cape.
The investment will fund the acquisition of a modern fleet of electric shuttles, charging infrastructure, and smart booking technology aimed at delivering efficient, reliable, and environmentally responsible transport between Cape Town International Airport, the CBD, Century City, and surrounding hospitality hubs. The EV Airport shuttle services will run hourly scheduled service from Cape town International Airport to the city bowl.
The launch of the proposed service is expected to begin officialy on the 1st of June 2026. Naked-fleet aims to expand to the Cape wine-lands on their second phase.
