Chery’s flagship models, the Tiggo 9 PHEV and Arrizo 8 PHEV, recently underwent a grueling 1214km endurance test to showcase their long-distance driving performance and alleviate any concerns about their range capabilities.

    1. Scenic Route: The journey took the vehicles from Beijing through cultural cities like Jinan and Qufu, the birthplace of Confucius, before concluding in Wuhu, Anhui, providing a diverse range of driving conditions to put the cars to the test.
    2. Power and Efficiency: The Tiggo 9 and Arrizo 8, equipped with a 1.5TGDI fifth-gen hybrid-specific engine and third-generation DHT hybrid transmission, demonstrated efficient power output and seamless switching between power sources, ensuring a comfortable and convenient driving experience.
    3. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): The models’ ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot detection, not only met the demands of the endurance test but made the journey stress-free for the drivers.
    4. Intelligent Features: Features such as massage function in the driver’s seat, double-layer laminated noise-reducing glass, and environmental noise cancelation contributed to a comfortable and serene driving experience.
    5. Electric Propulsion: The PHEV models’ advanced systems prioritize electric propulsion, especially in congested and slow-moving traffic conditions, maximizing efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
    6. Triumph and Approval: The Tiggo 9 showcased its outstanding performance, remarkable 1400 km range, and rapid charging capabilities, while the Arrizo 8 demonstrated efficient performance and record low energy consumption, leaving no doubts about Chery’s technological prowess and commitment to the new energy vehicle sector.
