Talent10 Holdings and the Industrial Development Corporation commit over $100m to develop an entertainment and gaming franchise, signaling a significant boost to South Africa’s film and gaming industries.

    1. Multi-Dimensional Franchise: The project includes the release of the action-thriller movie “Boy Kills World,” the development of the mobile and PC fighting game “Super Dragon Punch Force 3,” and an eight-part animated series expanding on the game’s characters.
    2. International Recognition: “Boy Kills World” made its debut at the Toronto Film Festival and secured distribution deals with Lionsgate Films and Roadside Attractions for its release in the US, catapulting South Africa onto the global filmmaking stage.
    3. Job Creation and Economic Development: The investment has contributed to local job creation and economic growth, solidifying South Africa’s position as a serious player in the global film production industry.
    4. Convergence of Gaming and Film: “Boy Kills World” explores the story of a deaf and mute protagonist immersed in the world of vengeance, with the Arcade Game “Super Dragon Punch Force 2” playing a significant role in shaping his journey.
    5. Launch of “Super Dragon Punch Force 3”: The highly ambitious mobile game, developed by Talent Digital Art, was launched at Cape Town Comic-Con, further expanding the franchise’s reach and captivating gamers.
    6. Boost for South Africa’s Entertainment Industry: The success of “Boy Kills World” at the box office has the potential to attract more investment, partnerships with international studios, increased tourism, and global recognition of South Africa’s creative excellence.
