    Cell C announces executive appointment

    Bryan O’Donovan assumes the role of Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Cell C, responsible for overseeing the management of data and analytics assets within the company.

    1. O’Donovan will spearhead data-driven decision-making processes, leveraging Cell C’s data assets to drive growth and optimization initiatives.
    2. With 19 years of experience in the industry, O’Donovan brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. He previously served as a managing executive at Vodacom for nearly four years.
    3. During his tenure at Vodacom, O’Donovan led the commercials and pricing division, overseeing strategic initiatives in those areas.
    4. O’Donovan’s role at Vodacom expanded to include finance business partnerships, as well as management of consumer prepaid, postpaid, and fiber-to-the-home services.
    5. Prior to his time at Vodacom, O’Donovan spent 16 years at Hollard Insurance, where he held the position of Head of Actuarial Product Development and Pricing Personal Lines.
    6. Cell C CEO Jorge Mendes emphasizes O’Donovan’s appointment as a testament to the company’s commitment to utilizing data and analytics to drive innovation and enhance customer experiences.
