DigiCars Group has welcomed the all-new JAECOO J5 BEV, with the fully electric SUV launching at both OMODA JAECOO Sandton and OMODA JAECOO Northcliff.

The launch marks another important addition to the growing DigiCars Group portfolio and gives customers across Johannesburg the opportunity to experience JAECOO’s first fully electric model offered in South Africa.

The J5 BEV also arrives at an exciting time for the Group, following the opening of its new flagship multi-brand dealership in Northcliff, Blackheath, Randburg. The ultra-modern facility brings OMODA and JAECOO together alongside the newly introduced LEPAS brand.

Priced from R549,900, the J5 BEV combines the practicality and presence of a modern SUV with an all-electric powertrain.

The J5 BEV is a vehicle designed around the lifestyle of a new generation of driver.
It’s for the professional moving between meetings, the entrepreneur navigating the day, the young family managing school runs and weekend plans, and the driver who wants technology, design and practicality without sacrificing personality.

“The J5 BEV represents the type of vehicle we believe more South African motorists are going to start considering as electric mobility becomes increasingly part of everyday life,” says Azhar Abed, Group COO of DigiCars Group.

“What makes this vehicle exciting for us is that it isn’t asking customers to completely change the way they live. You still have the space, practicality, technology and SUV styling people want, but now with the experience and efficiency of an electric powertrain. Having the J5 BEV available through both our Sandton and Northcliff dealerships gives our customers the opportunity to come in, drive it and experience that difference for themselves.”

Customers are invited to see the vehicle up close, experience its technology and discover whether electric driving fits their lifestyle.
