    Volkswagen Recognises Top Dealers at Annual Grand Prix Awards

    Volkswagen recently hosted its 33rd Grand Prix Awards ceremony at Inimitable, bringing its dealer network together in Muldersdrift, Johannesburg for an evening of recognition and excellence.

    The Grand Prix Awards celebrate the outstanding performance, dedication, and achievements of the dealer network over the past year, recognising excellence across the business.

    The Grand Prix Awards ceremony honoured 76 exceptional members of the Volkswagen dealer network across 20 distinct categories, recognising excellence in dealership performance. Among the evening’s highlights were the coveted Macro Group of the Year award and Dealer of the Year award celebrating the top-performing dealer groups in the country.

    “Volkswagen’s sustained success in South Africa is anchored in the strength and professionalism of our dealer network. Their disciplined execution, customer-centric approach, and deep commitment to the brand are fundamental to our continued market leadership. This evening is a recognition of that excellence and a reaffirmation of the standards that define Volkswagen,” said Niels Wichmann, acting Director of Sales and Marketing, Volkswagen Group Africa.

    The coveted Dealer of the Year Award was presented to Allan Stiles of CFAO Mc Duling Motors, marking his first win in this category. The accolade recognises the dealership that consistently delivers exceptional performance across all areas of the business, setting the benchmark for excellence within the network.Michael Kaftel of the Hatfield Group secured top honours in the Macro Dealer Group of the Year category for a remarkable ninth consecutive year. This sustained performance underscores a culture of consistent excellence.

    Kevin Pillay of the CFAO Group came in second place in the Macro Dealer Group of the Year category, in recognition of the group’s outstanding performance and continued commitment to advancing the Volkswagen brand.
