Ford SA reveals pricing and specifications for the all-new Territory SUV, undercutting initial estimates.

    1. The Territory will be available in three front-wheel drive versions, powered by a 1.8L turbocharged petrol engine.
    2. Pricing starts at R576,000 for the base 1.8T Ambiente, R632,000 for the midrange Trend, and R707,000 for the flagship Titanium. All variants have an optional service plan costing an additional R14,000.
    3. The new Territory is produced in China through a joint-venture with JMC, representing a departure from the previous Australian-built version.
    4. The 1.8T engine delivers 138kW and 318Nm and is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It offers four selectable drive modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, and Mountain.
    5. The Ambiente model features 18-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, cruise control, rear park distance control, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
    6. Safety features across the range include six airbags, ESP stability control, traction control, and various driver assistance systems. The Titanium trim offers additional luxury and advanced safety features.
