Honda’s latest SUV, the next-gen CR-V, has become the most expensive Honda vehicle in South Africa, with a starting price of R959,900.

    1. The new CR-V has transitioned from a five-seater to a seven-seater, resulting in a significant price increase.
    2. It offers increased length and additional cargo space, with a boot capacity ranging from 150 liters to 840 liters, depending on the seating configuration.
    3. The redesign includes improved visibility, repositioned pillars, larger windows, and a panoramic sunroof on the range-topping model.
    4. Interior enhancements feature sound-absorbing materials, Active Noise Control, heated Body Stabilizing Seats, and a range of technological features such as a 10.2-inch infotainment screen and wireless charging.
    5. Safety features include an HD surround camera, parking sensors, eight airbags, and Honda’s Sensing package with advanced driver-assistance systems.
    6. The CR-V is powered exclusively by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine generating 140kW and 240Nm, paired with a CVT transmission and achieving an average fuel consumption of 7.4l/100km.
