The Ford Puma compact SUV is set to be launched in South Africa in the fourth quarter of this year.

    1. While it is not positioned as an affordable SUV option like the recently discontinued EcoSport, the Ford Puma aims to cater to buyers in the more premium segment of the compact crossover market.
    2. Ford South Africa will offer two high-spec models of the Puma: the Titanium and the ST-Line Vignale.
    3. The Ford Puma Titanium is priced at R569,900, while the ST-Line Vignale is listed at R613,900.
    4. Both models are equipped with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder EcoBoost turbopetrol engine, delivering 92kW of power and 170Nm of torque.
    5. The power is transmitted to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
    6. The Ford Puma Titanium features 17-inch black-machined alloy wheels, chrome elements on the grille, side skirts, and fog light, and a metallic grey finished rear diffuser and skid plate.
    7. The ST-Line Vignale stands out with 18-inch machined alloy wheels, sports suspension, a unique ST-Line grille with matt black elements, and a functional roof spoiler.
    8. The ST-Line Vignale model also offers sports seats in partial leather with Metal Grey stitching, a B&O premium 10-speaker sound system, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
    9. Optional features include the ST-Line Styling Pack, which adds a black roof and full-length panoramic roof, among other items.
    10. Both models can be equipped with a Driver Assistance Pack, which includes features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information System, Rear Wide-angle Camera, and Active Park Assist.
    11. The Ford Puma comes with a four-year or 120,000km warranty, and service and maintenance plans are available as optional extras.
