The Mitsubishi Xforce is a new compact SUV that is set to compete with models like the Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser.

    1. It measures 4,390mm in length and 1,810mm in width, making it slightly larger than its rivals and the Mitsubishi ASX. It also has a class-leading ground clearance of 222mm.
    2. The Xforce is built in Indonesia and is destined for markets such as South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
    3. It is powered by a normally aspirated 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 77kW and 141Nm of torque.
    4. Power is sent to the front wheels through a CVT gearbox, and the Xforce offers four drive modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud. It features Active Yaw Control to improve traction and controllability.
    5. The cabin of the Xforce features a wide-screen display with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster. The central screen has a multi-widget design and pays homage to earlier Pajero models.
    6. It comes with a premium eight-speaker sound system developed in collaboration with Yamaha, offering four sound settings.
    7. The Xforce provides ample storage options, including drink holders that can accommodate up to 21 600ml bottles, various phone storage spaces, a wireless charger, and USB ports in the front and back seating rows.
    8. Mitsubishi Motors President Takao Kato stated that the Xforce was developed to meet the requirements of drivers in the ASEAN region and has undergone tuning in the region’s road environment.
    9. The Mitsubishi Xforce made its world debut at the Indonesia International Auto Show, and specific details for the South African market will be released closer to its launch.
