    Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA) has announced the appointment of Keneilwe Gwabeni as its new group chief information officer, effective immediately. With over 20 years of experience, Keneilwe will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s IT strategy.

    Prior to joining RMA, Keneilwe served as the group CIO at Assupol Holdings. Her extensive career includes senior technology and leadership roles across telecommunications, financial services, and the public sector. She is well-regarded for her track record in leading digital transformation initiatives and aligning technology with business objectives.

    Keneilwe’s appointment aligns with RMA’s commitment to enhancing its technological capabilities and ensuring that innovation supports the company’s growth strategies. Her expertise will play a crucial role in improving RMA’s digital platforms and operational efficiency.

    She holds a BCom Honours in Information Systems and a BTech in Information Technology, along with an IT project management course from the University of Johannesburg. Keneilwe has established herself as an influential figure in the South African technology landscape through her professional roles and contributions to the industry.
