    Driving Success: Ryan Searle Shifts Gears as Ford South Africa’s New Sales Director

    With three decades of experience in retail sales, marketing, and dealer development for German automotive brands, Ryan Searle takes on the role of sales director at Ford South Africa, bringing his expertise to drive the growth of the Ford brand.

    1. Ford South Africa aims to provide competitive and compelling products and services for its customers, reinforcing its commitment as it celebrates the 100th anniversary of Ford in the country.
    2. Searle will play a crucial role in the success of Ford’s expanding range of new-generation products, including the locally produced Ranger lineup, the recently launched Territory SUV, the new Transit and Tourneo Custom, and the upcoming seventh-generation Mustang.
    3. Ford is confident that Searle’s experience and drive will lead the company and its dealers into a new era of growth and success.
    4. Prior to joining Ford, Searle served as the head of Volkswagen Passenger Sales in South Africa, where he was responsible for sales strategy and market share performance for the dealer network.
    5. Searle has held various senior positions within the Volkswagen Group in South Africa, including heading the Audi Sales division and managing Volkswagen Marketing. He also brings knowledge of the retail sales business from his time at the Barloworld group.
    6. Searle completed his Bachelor of Social Science degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, majoring in Economics and Political Science, and followed it up with an Honours degree in Economics.
