BlueVision has announced a strategic partnership that will see Fluency Security‘s award-winning behavioural analytics into BlueVision’s Fusion Cloud service with the goal of sharpening cloud threat detection across South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Canada.

BlueVision is a CREST-accredited cybersecurity and managed services company with operations across Southern Africa and the United Arab Emirates. The company focuses on early intervention, proactive threat detection, and practical security outcomes that help organisations to reduce risk and maintain business continuity.

BlueVision CEO, Christo Coetzer, says this alliance will provide clients in these regions with earlier warning of identity-driven threats and clearer answers when it matters most. “The partnership strengthens the technology backbone of our BlueVision Fusion Cloud managed service offering. This gives clients across these regions earlier and more accurate insight into the threats that matter to their businesses,” he says.

Coetzer notes that for decision makers including: CFOs balancing risk against budget; CIOs accountable for resilience or CEOs answering to boards on cyber posture — the value is straightforward. “Better detection technology means fewer surprises, faster answers, and stronger monthly assurance that the business is being defended at the speed at which attackers actually move,” says Coetzer.

A leading platform for the way attacks happen now

Fluency Security is recognised internationally for redefining how modern security platforms work. “Its technology is built around a simple but powerful idea: the most damaging breaches don’t look like attacks — they look like behaviour that’s slightly out of pattern. Traditional security tools, designed to spot known threats, often miss these signals entirely,” he adds.

    Examples include:

    • A login from an unusual place.
    • An account suddenly accessing files it has never touched before.
    • A configuration change that quietly opens a door.

Coetzer explains Fluency’s behavioural analytics, UEBA clustering and gap detection are designed precisely for this challenge. “The platform continuously learns what “normal” looks like inside a client’s environment, then surfaces the meaningful deviations and just as importantly, the meaningful absences that point to real risk. It is the kind of capability that, until recently, was the preserve of large enterprises with seven-figure security budgets.”

Coetzer confirms Fluency was a natural choice of partner as BlueVision continues to invest in the engineering depth behind Fusion Cloud, as it is trusted by managed service providers and enterprises around the world.

Coetzer outlines what the partnership means for BlueVision’s Fusion Cloud clients.

“Fusion Cloud is BlueVision’s flagship cloud and identity monitoring service, expert-led, fixed-price, and built around a clear monthly report that translates security findings into business risk a leadership team can act on.” The Fluency partnership makes that service measurably stronger in three ways:

    • Earlier detection of identity-driven attacks. Stolen credentials and account takeovers are now behind the majority of cloud breaches. With Fluency’s behavioural lens integrated into Fusion Cloud, BlueVision’s analysts spot the subtle warning signs faster — unusual sign-ins, abnormal access patterns, impossible travel — and clients hear about issues in hours rather than weeks.
    • Sharper signal, less noise. One of the persistent frustrations executives express about cybersecurity is alert fatigue: too many notifications, not enough clarity. Fluency’s analytics dramatically reduce false positives, which means BlueVision’s monthly executive reports get sharper, the contextual alerts that do reach a client genuinely warrant attention, and leadership teams spend less time second-guessing what’s real.
    • Greater confidence at board level. As cyber risk continues to climb the agenda in audit committees and board meetings across the regions BlueVision serves, the demand for credible, defensible security assurance is only going to grow. Strengthening the technology underneath Fusion Cloud directly strengthens the answer BlueVision’s clients can give their boards, their auditors, their insurers, and their regulators.

“Cybersecurity is ultimately a confidence business. Our clients want to know, with confidence, that their environment is being monitored by people who know what they’re looking at, supported by the best technology available. Partnering with Fluency allows us to bring world-class behavioural analytics to bear on every Fusion Cloud client we serve — from a 50-seat business in Cape Town to a multi-regional enterprise in Dubai. It’s a meaningful upgrade to the assurances we deliver, and our clients will feel it in the quality of the answers we give them.

“Security outcomes are about understanding, not noise. We chose Fluency because their thinking on behavioural detection aligns with ours. With Fluency in our stack, our analysts have a richer view, and our clients have a stronger service supporting them.”

A platform built for what comes next

AI is rapidly reshaping both sides of the cybersecurity equation. Attackers are using it to scale campaigns and evade detection; defenders are using it to make sense of exponentially increasing number of signals. The organisations that will navigate this landscape best are those whose security partners have made deliberate, well-considered investments in the right technologies and built the human expertise around them to deliver real outcomes.

BlueVision’s partnership with Fluency is exactly that kind of investment. “It deepens the engineering substance behind a service that is already trusted by clients across regions, and it positions Fusion Cloud to keep raising the bar as the threat landscape evolves,” concludes Coetzer.
