    Schneider Electric to boost energy and automation training in South Africa

    Schneider Electric has signed MoUs with the NRF and University of Johannesburg

    1. The partnerships aim to train the local workforce and youth in energy and automation skills
    2. The agreements will strengthen cooperation on research, business cases and the next-gen energy workforce
    3. The deals have the potential to boost funding for research platforms for education in energy
    4. Schneider aims to train one million people globally by 2025
    5. The MoUs were signed at the French Embassy in South Africa
    6. The event was held in partnership with South Africa’s Department of Higher Education and Training
    7. The deals will strengthen cooperation on innovative energy technologies and business cases
