    Telkom won’t hang up on buyout bidders just yet

    Maseko consortium offered R46 per share (about $2.71) for a 35% stake in Telkom

    1. Telkom CEO Taukobong said the company is worth over R60 per share ($3.51)
    2. Maseko previously said Telkom was worth R108 ($6.33) per share in 2020
    3. MTN entered into discussions to buy Telkom for a combination of cash and shares
    4. Rain also made a competing proposal to acquire Telkom
    5. Taukobong said the “door is still open” for MTN to make an offer for Telkom
