    Applications Open for Morgan Stanley Small Business Academy

    Applications are now open for the 2026 Morgan Stanley Small Business Academy. Morgan Stanley’s Small Business Academy is an educational program that seeks to empower small business owners. The Academy focuses on helping small businesses leverage their competitive advantage, differentiate themselves in the procurement process, strengthen their business knowledge, and build their professional network. The Academy consists of a 12-week virtual, instructor-facilitated learning experience, followed by a yearlong mentorship program.

    At Morgan Stanley, we acknowledge the barriers and resource constraints that often prevent small businesses from getting their foot in the door. The Academy provides small businesses with the expertise to help them win work with financial services firms and other industries.

    Requirements

    1. Location
      Small businesses based in the United States, Canada, or Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
    2. Ownership
      Certified small businesses and those operating in underserved communities.
    3. Revenue
      Registered as a for-profit company with an annual revenue (net profit) of at least:
      • United States and Canada: $100,000 USD and no more than $2,000,000 USD
      • EMEA: $50,000 USD and no more than $1,000,000 USD
    4. Years of Operation
      Incorporated and operational for United States and Canada: 3-12 years or EMEA: 2- 12 years, satisfies at least one of Morgan Stanley’s services, and participants are members of their business’s executive committee (max. of two participants representing one business).

    Improve Your Business Knowledge

    Learn from Morgan Stanley leaders and subject matter experts who will cover relevant business topics and share their industry knowledge. Take part in training and apply what you learn in interactive working sessions with other Small Business participants, Morgan Stanley leaders, and subject matter experts in the process.

    Expand Your Professional Network

    Gather insights and feedback from Morgan Stanley leaders who look forward to building relationships with each of the Morgan Stanley Small Business Academy participants. As a program graduate, gain access to the growing Morgan Stanley Small Business Academy alumni network, where you can stay connected to your cohort and build relationships with other Business Academy participants.

    Grow Your Professional Brand

    • Participate in 1:1 mentoring sessions to set goals and learn how to apply key principles for success to your business.

    Small Business Grant

    Successfully complete the Morgan Stanley Small Business Academy curriculum and pitch a business case, incorporating key takeaways from the Academy and an implementation plan, to a panel of Morgan Stanley judges for potential access to capital.
