    Kuseni Dlamini has been appointed as the chairperson of Alex Forbes, a leading provider of retirement, investment, and insurance solutions in South Africa.

    1. Kuseni Dlamini has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the board of directors of Alexander Forbes Group Holdings Limited, a leading provider of retirement, investment, and insurance solutions in South Africa.
    2. Dlamini currently serves as the Chair of Massmart Limited, Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Limited, Sandvik Mining Southern Africa Holdings, and is a Non-Executive Director of Massmart.
    3. Dlamini is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the financial services industry. He has previously held senior positions at companies like Old Mutual and Anglo-American.
    4. This appointment comes at a time when Alex Forbes is undergoing a significant transformation, with a focus on improving its operational efficiency and expanding its product offerings.
    5. Dlamini’s leadership and experience are expected to be valuable in guiding the company through this transformation and positioning it for future growth.
    6. He has expressed his excitement about joining Alex Forbes and has stated that he looks forward to working with the company’s management team and employees to deliver value to its customers and stakeholders.
    7. Dlamini replaces Daniel Mminele who resigned earlier this year. Mminele, a former Absa CEO, has joined Nedbank as its chairperson, replacing Mpho Makwana. Dlamini will start in the role in July 2023.
