The demand for SUVs continues to grow while sales of sedans and hatchbacks decline.

    1. Opel’s Grandland has undergone significant updates, including the adoption of Opel’s “Vizor” design treatment upfront, giving it a more eye-catching appearance.
    2. The Grandland range includes three models: Grandland, Grandland GS Line, and Grandland Ultimate, with higher specifications compared to the previous range.
    3. Opel’s pure Panel digital cockpit is featured in the new Grandland lineup, offering a 12-inch instrument cluster and a seven or 10-inch infotainment touchscreen with navigation, depending on the model.
    4. Comfort has been a primary focus for Opel, with different seat trim options available, including Cloth, Alcantara, and leather, along with electronic seating adjustments, heating, and ventilation. The GS and Ultimate seats have been scientifically designed for posture and certified by AGR.
    5. The Grandland is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 121kW and 240Nm. It is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Overall, the Opel Grandland offers a combination of stylish design, comfort features, and a smooth driving experience, positioning it as a strong contender in the competitive SUV segment. The pricing for the Grandland range in August 2023 starts at R599,900 for the base model and goes up to R720,900 for the range-topping Ultimate variant. The vehicle comes with a five-year/100,000km warranty and service plan.
