    Deloitte appoints first female Country Leader in Namibia

    Deloitte Namibia has appointed Melanie Harrison as its first female Country Leader, making history in the process.

    1. Harrison has been with Deloitte since 2005, starting as a junior IT audit consultant.
    2. She has held various senior positions at Deloitte Namibia, including Risk Advisory Leader and Human Capital Leader.
    3. Harrison is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA).
    4. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion, and is committed to creating a more equitable workplace for women.
    5. Harrison’s appointment is a significant milestone for Deloitte Namibia, and is a testament to her hard work and dedication.
    6. She is a role model for women in the accounting and auditing profession, and her appointment is a sign of positive progress in the fight for gender equality.
