    1. Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni has released a progress report on Operation Vulindlela, an initiative set up by President Cyril Ramaphosa to implement 35 priority reforms to boost economic growth and job creation.
    2. The report shows that over half of the reforms are either completed or on track to be completed within the next year, with progress being made in areas such as energy, freight logistics, digital communications, water, and visa reforms.
    3. Ntshavheni challenged those who say that progress has been too slow, highlighting the meaningful strides that have been made in just over two years.
    4. Key achievements include the removal of licensing requirements for generation projects of any size, accelerating procurement of new generation capacity, and facilitating the procurement of independent power by municipalities. Additionally, the report outlines progress in areas such as freight logistics, digital communications, water, and visa reforms.
