A prominent role is available for the position of Group Head Risk & Resilience at Hollard in Parktown, Gauteng. This permanent position, reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, is crucial for the enterprise risk management (ERM) strategy of the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the ERM Framework, ensuring that the approved risk management programme is effectively executed.

This role involves working within a combined assurance model that promotes transparency and collaboration across all levels of the organisation. The Group Head will continually adapt to the evolving business landscape, focusing on governance, risk management, and business continuity. Key responsibilities include developing policies, managing risk identification and assessment, and providing guidance on integrating risk appetite into strategic decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate should have over ten years of experience in senior risk, compliance, or audit management roles, specifically within the South African insurance or financial services industry. A strong understanding of risk and compliance standards, as well as business continuity management, is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills will be necessary to foster a risk-aware culture throughout the organisation.

Candidates should hold a qualification of NQF 7 or higher in relevant fields such as Risk, Legal, Business, Finance, or Actuarial science. Professional designations like Risk Practitioner, CA(SA), CFA, or CERA are also preferred.

If you are ready to take on this significant role and help shape the risk management landscape at Hollard, consider applying before the closing date of 19 September 2025.
