Visa, a global powerhouse in digital payments, has teamed up with Absa, a leading African financial services group, to launch applications for the She’s Next programme, targeting female entrepreneurs in South Africa. This initiative is designed to empower women-owned businesses by providing them with vital resources and support.
The She’s Next programme focuses on creating a fair and inclusive space for women in business, offering grant funding, customised training, mentorship, and networking events. The aim is to boost the role of women in the economy while aligning with Visa’s mission to digitise small businesses worldwide and foster a nurturing ecosystem for their success. Lineshree Moodley, Visa’s country head for South Africa, highlighted the company’s dedication to helping women entrepreneurs flourish through this programme.
Women business owners from diverse sectors across South Africa are invited to apply for a shot at winning a portion of over ZAR1 million (US$55,000) in grants. Beyond financial support, participants will benefit from specialised training and development workshops organised by Visa and Absa, enhancing their skills and business potential.
Interested applicants can submit their entries via the official website until 30 July.
