- Gomwe joined the company in April 2022 and played a key role in enhancing the Makhado hard-coking steelmaking coal project.
- During his tenure, MC Mining completed a rights issue, which added significant value to the project.
- Gomwe’s departure comes after the successful off-market offer by Goldway Capital Investment in April.
- The offer resulted in Goldway and its consortium members holding over 93% of the company’s shares.
- Gomwe’s options vested as a result of the offer, which can be exercised on or before April 27, 2027.
- The company plans to release an update on the MD and CEO position shortly, thanking Gomwe for his contributions and positioning the company for future development.
