ISUZU partners with Rally to Read, a literacy-focused organization, to promote education in South Africa.

    1. Recent PIRLS study shows 81% of grade 4 learners cannot read for meaning, highlighting the need for improved literacy.
    2. Rally to Read’s 2024 initiative will receive R16 million in funding, with one of the 12 regional rallies supported by ISUZU.
    3. ISUZU and Rally to Read delivered books, teaching aids, and digital resources to three primary schools in Gqeberha.
    4. ISUZU’s commitment to education extends beyond the Rally to Read partnership, with initiatives like the GMMDC program and support for Missionvale Care Centre.
    5. The partnership aims to promote a love for reading, writing, and enhance literacy skills among South African youth.
    6. Sustainability is ensured through teacher training, digital literacy workshops, and parental engagement to support learning beyond the classroom.
